The Academic Services Committee administers the distribution of Undergraduate Research funds, which supports the pursuit of scholarly activities by students and the presentation of this work at scholarly meetings. The current contacts for this program are Jennifer Harrison and Arthur Robinson.
Please take a moment to read a letter to students interested in Undergraduate Research from Dr. Jay Simmons, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean.
The Guidelines below describe the program and outline the application process. The Undergraduate Research Application is the general application and must be submitted with all proposals. If the project involves travel, the Travel Application must be filled out and submitted as well. Each application form is a Microsoft Word document that can be filled out and submitted electronically, which is the preferred method of application. Submit the applications to one of the contacts listed above. The requirement for multiple copies of the application forms is unnecessary for electronic applications.
